So yesterday, I made a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that showed a link about Nissan/Toyota/Honda recalling a lot of cars over side curtain airbags. While I didn't take most stuff I posted seriously, I looked into the recall mentioned and sure enough, my car was on it. Took it to the local Nissan dealer today to ask about recalls and they showed me a sheet that said nothing. No recalls at all. Does this mean I'm free and safe or should I try again in a month or two since the recall only just made the news yesterday? Talked to a few other Cube owners who've had their airbags fixed in the past or were just getting letters now.

Typically manufacturers only recall certain VINs. This is based on either the plant it was manufactured at, the parts installed, or particular cars that were affected within a certain time period. If yours isn't mentioned, I'd assume yours is probably safe because it didn't meet the afflicted criteria.
